My journey into design began with music — both rooted in timing, emotion, and dynamics.
Music taught me how stories emerge through movement and flow. Interactive design speaks to me for the same reason: bridging the physical and digital to craft experiences that resonate emotionally.
philosophy
Design shouldn’t just be seen — it should be felt.
That’s why I push to get designs into interactive form as early as possible. Static mocks only go so far — they flatten what could be dimensional, responsive, and alive. Prototyping is a way of thinking for me — a way to discover ideas, not just demonstrate them.
I’m especially drawn to Origami Studio by Facebook. It’s become my favorite playground for rapid exploration and prototyping. Being able to test interactions in real time — on real devices — has reshaped how I approach creative problem solving.
What I'm drawn to
✦ Designing experiences that feel human ✦ Microinteractions that build delight ✦ Creating tools and experiences that empower others ✦ Partnering across design & engineering ✦ Balancing restraint with just the right amount of magic
Outside the screen
I’m a dad, guitarist, songwriter, coffee drinker, and a sucker for old tube amps. When I'm not creating, I love spending time with my family and fishing.
